What is Padel?

Padel is a racket sport that combines elements of tennis and squash. It is typically played in a glass-walled court and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels.

What is Kiwi Padel?

We are the first importer, installer and promoter of Padel courts in New Zealand. After 3 years of hard work and research, we opened our first (but not our last) court at Riverside Sports club in Auckland in October 2023.

Who is your manufacturer and why did you choose them?

We decided to work with one of the leaders in the world, Portico Sport. With the help of their engineers and ours, we managed to create and design a court meeting the New Zealand building code requirements. It wasn’t easy, but we made it!

Do I need special equipment to install Padel Courts?

Yes, you will need to import padel court structures, glass walls, artificial turf and fencing. Depending on your location, you may also need to import lighting systems and any necessary accessories.

Do I need permits or approvals to install Padel courts?

Yes, you will need a building consent from your appropriate council. Contact us to clarify what permits and approvals are necessary.

What's the cost of importing and installing Padel courts?

It largely depends on the quality of the court, but we are committed to giving you the best quality, at the best price. Costs may vary based on the location and the number of courts you want to install. Get in touch for a quote now.

Can I install a Padel court in my backyard?

Yes! All you need is a 20 x 10m space.

Is professional installation required, or can I install it myself?

Professional installation is recommended in New Zealand for padel courts to ensure they meet safety standards and play correctly. Our courts require precise measurements, proper construction and glass installation, which are best handled by us.

How Long Does It Take to Install a Padel Court?

The time required for installation depends on the location and complexity of the court, as well as weather conditions. Once the court has arrived, it takes 10-14 days on average for installation.

Do you offer financing for Padel court projects?

If you're looking for financing options and have a space, contact us as we have investors currently looking for opportunities to be involved.
